Question:
1. Up to
what time can we read ishraak.
2. Zohr
ends at about 3.30pm for the shaafis. Till what time can hanafies read Zohr.
Answer:
(1). Ishraaq time commences at about 15 minutes after sunrise and lasts until midday. However, it is preferable to perform it as early as possible (after its time sets in at about 15 minutes after sunrise).
(2). According to the Hanafis, the terminating point of Zuhr is when the shadow of an object reaches twice its length (apart from the original shadow at midday). Depending on your location, the time could differ from other areas. You should therefore check the perpetual calendar chalked out for your particular area or enquire from the local Imaam at the Masjid.
