Question: 

Kindly advise if one require wudhu if using a qurran app for recital.

I normally use the Qamar app Quran or the 13line quraan dual page app.

Answer: 

The Qur’an is the divine word of Allah Ta'aala, hence, it deserves utmost respect. It is for this reason many jurists have prescribed etiquettes for reciting Qur’an. Therefore, one should make every effort to abide by these etiquettes. It will be impermissible to touch the text of the Qur’an on the screen without wudhu because it is against the reverence of the Holy Book.i

Having said that, if one observes the sanctity of the symbols of Allah, then such things emanate from the piety of the hearts.
