I am madhoor from
urine drops
Insha Allah i will be
performing umrah.
I usually put a tissue
in my underwear to prevent my clothes getting soiled and change it before
salaah
During umrah i cant
wear underpants so what can be done or what is the ruling because my urine
drops will soil the ihram?
Also please
indicate kitab and where to obtain me what i can study the masaail of
umrah.
Answer:
One is not allowed to wear sewn clothing in the state of Iḥrām. However, if it isn’t worn in the manner it was made for, it will be allowed. For example, if one were to wrap the Kurta around one’s shoulders as a shawl or wrap ones trousers around ones waist, it will be allowed. So, to protect your Iḥrām from urine drops, you can tie a piece of clothing around your private parts that isn’t meant to be worn there (like a shirt, pant, scarf etc.) like a diaper. Or you can tie underwear as well, as this is not the way it is worn. (Shaami Vol. 2 Pg. 489)
There are plenty books written on the Masā'il of 'Umrah by the 'Ulamā'. But to be sure, one can approach his local 'Ālim and have him check over the book that one is reading in this regard to
insure that the Masā'il mentioned therein are correct.
