According to Madhhab:
shooting a hunted animal with a pointed or sharpened bullet make the animal
Halaal without slaughtering?
The view of our Darul Ifta is that a wild edible animal that is shot with a gun is not to be regarded as Halaal, unless it is still alive after being shot and the hunter reaches the animal in time to slaughter it according to the prescribed Shar’ie method.
This is due to the fact that the bullet (even though it may be sharpened) generally does not wound the animal causing it to die, rather it is the impact of the bullet that crushes and tears the internal organs of the animal causing it to die. Secondly, even if the animal has an external wound, it is difficult for us to accurately and precisely state that the animal had died due to the wound. There always exists the possibility of the animal dying because of the impact of the bullet on the internal organs, hence one should exercise caution and refrain from eating such an animal that has died as a result of a gunshot wound.
Yes, if a gunbow is used (which in effect, uses an arrow to kill the animal), and Tasmiyyah is recited and the arrow creates a wound that allows the blood to escape, then such an animal will be Halaal, in spite of the fact that it has been killed with the gunbow.
