Is it permissible to use ebucks? (Putting money into a bank, paying for safekeeping and getting monetary benefits)

Answer:

E-bucks’ points are gifted to selected private bank account holders through various means. For an existing account holder or a person who already has an account merely to conduct his normal transactions, there is no harm in benefitting from these points as these points are treated as a gift, which the bank is giving to its loyal customers. However, to open an account with the mere and express intention of gaining these rewards, will not be permissible.
