Question:

What
is the ruling regarding having one's bed face Qiblah?

Answer:

If the purport of your query is to position the bed in such a way that the foot-end of the bed is turned in the direction of the Qiblah so that when one sleeps on the bed (on his back), his head will be in the direction of the Qiblah, then there is no harm in doing so, provided that while the head is towards the Qiblah, his feet must be tucked in. The feet should not be pointed in the direction of the Qiblah as this is prohibited.

However, the Sunnah method of sleeping is that a person sleeps on his right side, with his right palm under his right cheek, whilst facing in the direction of the Qiblah. To attain this posture, it is obvious that the foot-end of the bed will not be turned towards the Qiblah.
