1 Tahajjud in congregation Fri 20 May 2016

1. A Hafiz Saheb performs Tahajjud Salaah with another person in congregation. Others have also requested to join the Tahajjud Salaah. Is this permitted?
If there are a maximum of three Muqtadis, it is permissible to perform Tahajjud in congregation. If the Muqtadis exceed three, it is Makrooh to do so.

3 Pausing in Salaah for the duration of 3 Subhanallah Fri 05 Aug 2016

If a Musalli gets involved in some form of thoughts in Salaah for the duration of one Rukn during which no portion of the Quraan or no Tasbeeh is recited then Sajda-e-sahw will be necessary. However if one pauses for the duration of one Rukn in order to regain ones breath then Salaah will be valid and Sajda-e-sahw will not be necessary. One is also permitted to breathe more than once in accordance to ones need but such breathing should not produce any sound such as ooh or aah etc..

4 Doubts about passing wind Fri 05 Aug 2016

Does Wudhu break if one is in doubt as to whether he has passed wind or not?

If one does not have certainty of releasing wind then ones Wudhu will not break. If one merely has doubts, one should not pay any attention to such doubts.

5 Repeating more than half of Surah Fateha in Salaah Fri 05 Aug 2016

Does Sajda-e-Sahw become necessary if one repeats more than half of Surah Fateha in Salaah?

If one repeats more than half of Surah Fateha then Sajda-e-sahw will be necessary (waajib) even though the repetition was due to correction. When one repeats Surah Fateha he will be delaying a Waajib of Salaah which is the surah that is recited after Surah Fateha ,thus Sajda-e-sahw will be necessary.

6 Performing Salaah after the time has expired Fri 05 Aug 2016

If one performs Salaah thinking that the time for Salaah is still remaining but later finds out that the time of Salaah has expired, will his Salaah be valid?

If one intended to make Adaa of the Salaah thinking that the time of salaah still remains then comes to know that the Salaah time has expired, Salaah will be valid.
